Frequently Asked Questions

Do clothing labels work on other items?

Yes, and that’s the beauty of our labels- they’re multi-use! Not only are they waterproof for the washing machine, but they’re also dishwasher-safe as long as they’re on a smooth, hard surface. If you’ve labeled your child’s clothing and have some leftover name stickers, you can add them to water bottles, lunchboxes, pencil boxes, baby bottles, electronics, school supplies, daycare essentials, and other gear.

How do I label tagless clothing?

We have you covered! In addition to our stick-on labels for clothing tags, we also offer clothing labels that go on brand/size imprints. After you’ve customized the clothing labels with your child’s name and favorite style, choose “For Tagless Clothing” under label type. This lets us know that you need name stickers for brand stamps/size imprints. Brand stamps and size imprints are found where traditional tags are. These must stick to the stamp/imprint, NOT directly to the fabric.

What if they fall off in the washing machine?

Can I add more than one name to this label set?

Unfortunately, we can't split this product across multiple names. This product is set up with one name and one style only, and it must remain consistent throughout production. However, we offer a Custom Sibling Labels Pack that lets you add up to 8 names and choose 8 different styles in one product. Another way to make this product work is to only add your family’s last name to the stickers!

What’s the difference between Stick-On Clothing Labels and Iron-On Clothing Labels?

Our easy stick-on clothing labels go right on the garment’s care tag or brand/size imprint (for tagless clothing) and require no extra steps, like ironing. Since we produce labels for clothing with and without tags, our stick-ons are a great option to keep clothing out of the lost-and-found; they’re super strong but removable.

If you prefer a permanent clothing label, or need to label clothing without care tags or a size imprint, or items that are all fabric-based (like socks, mittens, etc.), iron-on clothing labels are the perfect choice. They take only a few extra minutes compared to stick-ons and fuse directly to the fabric with a household iron.
