A Quick Note on Silicone & Rubber Surfaces
Our adhesive name labels and matching stickers stick strongly to hard plastics, stainless steel, glass, and smooth metal containers. However, silicone and squishy rubber materials are naturally non-stick (it’s why food slides right off them!), and our labels will NOT work on these surfaces. If your kiddo uses silicone snack pouches or rubberized bottle sleeves, the labels will not stick. However, if there is a hard surface mixed with the silicone, apply the lunchbox or matching sticker there. If space is limited, we also offer extra-small name stickers.
How to Apply Lunchbox Name Labels So They Stay Put All Year

- Clean & Dry: If you’re labeling a brand-new lunchbox, it’s ready to go! If you’re labeling one that’s been used, give the lunchbox surface a quick wipe-down to remove grease, food oils, or dirt. Towel dry thoroughly.
- Press & Smooth: Peel the name label/matching sticker from the sheet and press it onto a smooth spot. Firmly rub your thumb across the sticker from the center outward to push out any tiny air bubbles and to ensure it goes on smoothly.
- Give It 24 Hours to Set: Let the name label rest for a full 24 hours before getting it wet. This gives the adhesive time to fully bond to the surface, ensuring it will last for the entire school year.
