The Name Bubbles Story: From a Mother’s Need to a National Brand

Like many woman-owned small businesses, Name Bubbles was born out of a practical, real-world problem. Nearly two decades ago, our Founder and President, Michelle Brandriss, was preparing to send her young son to daycare. She quickly ran into a struggle familiar to parents everywhere: absolutely everything needed her son’s name on it.

After permanent markers faded in the dishwasher and masking tape peeled off baby bottles, Michelle took matters into her own hands. Following months of material testing and research right in her basement, she developed a custom, ultra-durable, waterproof name label for kids that’s made to withstand everyday life. In 2009, Name Bubbles was officially born.

While our story began at the daycare doorstep, it didn't stay there. As our customers' children grew, so did our line of products. What started as bottle and clothing name labels quickly expanded into complete organizational systems for every childhood milestone:
