When Michelle Brandriss was preparing to send her young son to daycare, she ran into something parents everywhere experience: everything needed his name on it.
Like many parents, Michelle found herself improvising. She used a permanent marker and tape to label bottles, clothes, shoes, and comfort items, hoping everything would make it back home at the end of the day.
It worked for a while, but it wasn't a permanent solution. Michelle knew she needed something better and the Name Bubbles journey began.
From Idea to Reality
What started as an idea quickly turned into months of research and development in her basement. Michelle wanted to create labels that parents could count on to keep their kids belongings coming home.
After many rounds of testing, name labels that parents could stick with for the everyday adventures of childhood were created, and Name Bubbles was born.
In 2009, when Michelle finally sent her son to daycare with his very own Name Bubbles labels, they did exactly what they were meant to do.
They stayed put through the dishwasher, the laundry, and the everyday chaos of childhood.
What began as a solution for one family quickly became the preferred labeling choice for families across the United States.
